WIPA Event - Hilton Huntington Beach Hotel, CA
October 6, 2010
"Make the decision to pursue a dream - that many people consider impossible..." 2011-02-07

I’m not sure why but ‘food’ has been mainly on my mind and events that I’ve been attending. What can I say, beautiful 75-80 degree weather in Sunny Southern California gives me more reasons to go to these outdoor festive food events. This is the first year of the OC Foodie Fest, on there will be a “Foodie Preview” in Santa Ana August 7 from 7-10pm. Here is some more information about it if you’re interested in going…
Saturday, August 7th from 7-10:30 in Downtown Santa Ana at Proof Bar

On a “Personal Note”…When I first heard the term “foodie” on Top Chief, I just thought it was a food enthusiast. Here is the definition of it…”a person devoted to refined sensuous enjoyment (especially good food and drink)”… That would be me!
If you like Korean BBQ or a meat lover, this is the place to be this Saturday, August 7, 2010! The Second Annual Korean BBQ Cook-off, showcasing a selection of the best dishes by top Korean barbecue restaurants and vendors.
Admission is free, and all plates will be sold for $5 each. Last year’s Cook-off drew over 10,000 people, and this year’s event will feature more restaurants, a larger selection of vendors and a larger venue.
Here is some more information about the event. I won’t be going this weekend, I will be at Club 33 at Disneyland so I will have to catch this “Meat Lover” event next year.

The 2nd Annual Korean BBQ Cook-Off
Saturday, August 7
12:00pm - 7:00pm
3600 Wilshire - upper parking lot
Los Angeles, CA
**All plates are $5 each, Vendor Tickets will be sold at the entrance. Vendor tickets must be purchased as restaurants will not be taking cash**
RESTAURANTS AND VENDORS:
- BCD Tofu Hous
- Byul Gobchang
- Cherry on Top
- Chuncheon Dakgalbi
- Coolhaus
- Cosmos Galbi
- Flip’s Beach BBQ
- Hamji Park
- Hansong
- Kalbi Burger
- O Dae San
- Olympic Restaurant
- Park’s BBQ
- Scoops Westside
- Seoul Sausage Co.
- Soowon Galbi
** On a “Personal Note”… I can’t believe I’m missing this event, we practically make or go out to eat Korean BBQ ever week. It’s not something that I would pass up, but a once in a lifetime chance to dine at Exclusive Club 33 at Disneyland will have to take priority over this weekend instead.

Jen O'Sullivan: Hey, Thanks for posting but the event is on August 10th, this Tuesday! :)
It’s been awhile since I’ve been to an event or even leave the house for the past couple of months, but today is a special day I’m heading out with son and with the beautiful gorgeous sunny SoCal weather, it’s hard to pass this event up. We’ll (my son and I) be going to Utterly Engaged HoeDown BBQ Picnic at the Irvine Ranch Park, in Orange from 6-9pm.
If you see us please come and say “Hi”, I would love to meet you! The event is open to family (kids free) and friends and especially all our brides, hopefully you can make it and find ideas and inspiration from the event for your wedding, meet great vendors, and have a great time!
The event is $10 at Irvine Ranch Education Center in Orange, from 6-9pm on Thursday, July 29, 2010. Here are some of the vendor highlight of the evening.

P.S…I have a special outfit picked out for my son tonight, and I got this special baby 0-6 month Sheriff’s hat at Janie and Jack just for this event. The hat was a little pricey but well worth it for photos, so I don’t mind forking over the $24.99 for the infant hat he can only wear for the next month! He will be stylin’ in his new outfit to his first HoeDown party!

P. P. S…I have many many more baby hats to show off, and this is just one of them …what can I say…I’m infatuated with baby hats…they are just so cute!

Utterly Engaged E-Magazine featured a “Crafty and Chic Wedding Style Theme” from Jessica Claire’s workshop that the All Made Up Team, Orange County Makeup Artist and Wedding Hair Stylist/Updo Specialist participated in September.
We had a fabulous time and wanted to share some photos that were captured from Brando Kidd Photography, and theme design and concept from Summer Watkins of Greys Likes Weddings.

I just wanted to give a special thanks to everyone below who participated and we had a great and fun time working with everyone!

Back in September we got the opportunity to work with the fabulous Jessica Claire Photographer, also co-founder of the Shoot Sac and Wedding Photographer from Orange County. In September we got to product 2 different looks for our fabulous wedding couple, Jeff and Gena, at both of Jessica Claire’s workshop sessions in Ladera Ranch, CA.
Jessica Claire usually speaks at photographer conventions, I had a the opportunity to listen to her at the WPPI a couple of years ago. She is an amazing photographer and check out some of the All Made Up Team’s different looks we produced during the workshop.

I just wanted to give a special thank you to Lauryl Lane, from Flora Organica Designs, and Summer Watkins from Greys Likes Weddings, both your teams did a fabulous job on the theme design and floral designs.

Hi Everyone…Yes, I k now it’s been a very very long time since I updated my blog, and there are many reasons why…but no more excuses and time for massive updating time in a couple of weeks before the year ends. I can’t tell you how many events, special projects, shoots, the All Made Up Team has done this past summer and holidays. Recently we were honored to work with the fabulous Jasmine Star Photographer at her photographer branding workshop in Orange County. I got to meet 20+ fabulous photographers and can’t wait to see more photos of from all of them.
Here are some photos from her workshop in November. We decide to go with a fall look and theme for our lovely model Ashley Rose, also a fabulous photographer in Orange County. Ashley was in a beautiful chiffon Vera Wang Wedding dress, and we accented her modern urban accessories in shades of grey all from Anthropologie.
Thanks Lauryl Lane from Floral Organica.com for creating such a beautiful fall inspired wedding boutique for the shoot. Here are some more of Lauryl Lane’s fabulous floral masterpieces.
